Terms of use

These terms apply when you use dikkle.com, its search pages and its JSON API. By using Dikkle you agree to them.

Using Dikkle

  • Dikkle is free to use. You do not need an account to search.
  • Please do not flood the service with automated requests, try to get around its rate limits, or use it to harm other people or sites. We may block traffic that does.
  • The JSON API at /api/search is for light use, up to 60 requests a minute from one network. Write to us if you need more.

Results and other sites

  • Results link to sites that Dikkle does not run. We do not control what they publish and are not responsible for it.
  • The index is built by software and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important at its source.
  • Dikkle shows only a title, an address and a short snippet for pages that are not openly licensed. Those pages keep their own copyright.
  • Images keep the licence their authors chose, shown beside each one. Videos are YouTube's and their uploaders'. The Videos tab uses YouTube API Services: by using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL, and the map tiles follow the OpenMapTiles schema (CC BY 4.0).

We work to keep Dikkle running and accurate, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop parts of it. When these terms change, this page shows the new version.
